And the Eisner goes to...

Pues como cada año por estas fechas, ya han salido a la luz las nominaciones a los Eisner 2010, que para los despistados, son el equivalente a los Oscar de Hollywood en la industria de los cómics y al igual que estos no están exentos de algunas críticas por parte de los aficionados, ya que los Eisner, de la misma manera que los Oscar son un galardón que los concede la propia industria y en ningún caso se tiene en cuenta la opinión de los lectores. Pero críticas a parte, lo que nadie puede negar es que las obras nominadas tienen un nivel de calidad altísimo.

Como la lista se las trae, porque hay bastantes categorías, sólo voy a comentar una de ellas de momento.

En la categoría de Mejor serie regular o continuada encontramos los siguientes nominados:

No he leído las series de Vertigo The Unwritten y Fables aunque estoy seguro por los comentarios de los lectores y por la propia crítica que son series excelentes pero las que realmente me han hecho bastante ilusión que aparezcan entre los nominados son las otras tres.

De Irredeemable sólo he leído un par de números (todavía no la han editado en España pero estoy seguro que no tardaran) y me sobra para decir que es un pedazo de serie de superhéroes que demuestra lo que un buen guionista es capaz de hacer cuando no pesa sobre sus hombros las obligaciones editoriales y el lastre de la continuidad.

De Walking Dead basta decir que como me picaba la curiosidad, ya que todo el mundo hablaba maravillas, cometí el "error" de leerme el primer número... que ingenuo, creo que ya voy por el 54 y estoy deseando que salga el nuevo tomo para el salón.

Y que voy a contar de 20th Century Boys , pues que es una jodida obra maestra mas en la lista de Naoki Urasawa y que junto a Walking Dead han sido las obras que mas me han enganchado en mucho tiempo y han conseguido que empezara un tomo detrás de otro de manera compulsiva.

No se que trabajo se llevará el Eisner pero al menos para mi, estas tres obras tienen unas nominaciones mas que merecidas.
